Admission Policies and Procedures

Shelton's Primary Education Center (S.P.E.C.) does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational and/or admission policies.  We therefore, admit students of any race, color, and national and ethnic origin.  S.P.E.C. cannot meet the needs of disabled children. 

ADMISSIONS                                                                                                                             

A completed enrollment packet including all the required forms (listed below) must be submitted by the parent and/or guardian.  Full payment of the non-refundable annual registration and fundraising fees should also be included.

Required enrollment forms:

  • Application for admissions
  • Parent contract and admission policy and procedures
  • Registration fee
  • Current immunization record (and any other health forms)
  • Parent/guardian consent for field trips
  • PTA Membership & Participation Survey 

If your child is a prospective student, an observation date will be scheduled. On this date, your child will spend the day visiting in the classroom.

UNIFORMS

All School-Age students are required to be in uniform Monday through Thursday.  Friday is designated as “free dress” day.  On physical education days students have the option of wearing a Shelton's T-Shirt/sweatshirt with navy blue sweatpants or shorts.
