FUNDRAISING
Like other non-profit organizations, Shelton's thrives
on the volunteerism and financial generosity of Parents, Alumni, Staff, Alumni Parents, Grandparents and Friends to support
our outstanding programs. Tuition does not provide all the funds necessary to run our school. Parents are
expected to participate in each of our two major fundraisers -- one held in the Fall, the other held in the Spring.
Shelton's fundraising efforts help subsidize operations, renovation
of our building and play areas, supply equipment and computers, and provide enrichment programs. Fundraising events
not only raise money; they also build community. Participating in our fundraisers and giving programs is a great way to connect
with other members of the school community and contribute to the legacy of the school.
VOLUNTEERING
In addition to fundraising, parents are required to volunteer
at our school at least 15 hours a school year. There are many ways to participate, including: participating in our Parent
Teacher Association (PTA), helping in the classroom, assisting with fundraisers or school events, and by participating in
school clean up days.
